Negative 2”~ positive 1” is suitable when you choice woolen based yarn.
For cotton based yarn, 0 ~ positive 2” ease is suitable.

Need longer length?
Add desire length (multiple of 4 rows) before the first waist decreased row.

Want to knit in round?
Straggled eyelet pattern is rep of k2tog and yo. This lovely airy pattern is slightly stretched bias.
Means, if you knit this pattern in round(aka seamless), it will twist over 2” at the side view.
