New Light is a light and airy asymmetric triangular shawl knitted on the bias in a soft and sleek silk merino cashmere fingering yarn and a floaty soft kid silk lace yarn.

Sections of ethereal lace are interspersed with contrasting striped bands of relaxing garter and stocking stitch to create this simple and elegant design.

New Light shawl yarn bundles are available from Louie & Lola Yarns

Pattern Notes
New Light is worked in one piece from the top right corner across to the left and downwards.
Two increases at the beginning and one decrease at the end of every right side row creates an asymmetric triangular shape.
You may find it helpful to use a stitch marker to indicate the RS.
The pattern instructions are fully written out and, for those who prefer to work from charts, a chart for the lace is also included.
