NO BROOMSTICK REQUIRED! SCARF

Get the fabulous loopy lacy results of broomstick lace without the broomstick!

I always struggle to hold anything other than a hook when I’m crocheting - this put me off making anything with broomstick lace for years. But, by using an easy to make loop stitch alternative, I am able to achieve a similar look with this quick and easy substitute.

YOU WILL NEED 300-400 m Aran, Worsted or Chunky yarn, an appropriate hook for your chosen yarn, a needle for neatening ends.

GAUGE – variable - amounts quoted are for a long (approx. 6ft) scarf.

This pattern is written in UK and US terms and includes a video tutorial for the loop stitch used and a chart for reference.
