Hugely inspired by Labyrinth and magical creatures in general, Noko the Troll was a passion set into action!

I have always preferred the different to the social normal and I couldn’t resist making a big cuddly troll!

Noko (Noe-Koe) is from Nokomis, Florida. He used to live under a drawbridge that leads to Casey Key and our favorite beach…North Jetty. His coat is made from Skunk Ape hair. Trolls and Skunk Apes are natural friends and share a symbiotic relationship with one another; every summer the Trolls help the Skunk Apes by shearing back their fur so they can stay cool and chill at the beach incognito. The Trolls then work tirelessly to create their winter vests, spinning yarn and crocheting (yes, they crochet!)
Skunk Apes are the Florida Bigfoot!

Noko the Troll needs intermediate/advanced experience or a very determined student to complete!

Materials I used:

F hook (or size you need to create a tight fabric)
H hook (pants)
K hook (vest)
1 skein Red Heart Super Saver in Aran (Buff for my Ginger Troll)
1 skein Red Heart Super Saver in Tea Leaf (heather grey for Ginger Troll)-maybe 1/4-1/2 skein
1 skein Patons Big Boucle in Summit (or Super Bulky Yarn of your choice)
1 skein Lion Brand Fun Fur in Sandstone (red for Ginger )
Small amt white yarn for eye (for Ginger eyelid I used a small amt of lavender instead of skin color)
1 1/4” shank style toggle button
Fiberfill
9mm black safety eyes (I used 10mm brown/black for ginger)
tapestry needle (yarn needle)
3/16” dowel (chopstick will work too!)
