I always loved this design. For years I would see it, but I never saw a universal name to describe it. Living near the National Nordic Museum for a year and seeing it popular in their designs, I named this the Nordic Star.

Something about this pattern just emits the essence of winter, cold, and warmth at the same time. I designed this to have a simple version of the star for beginer knitters, or experienced knitters who want an easy project.

Use 2 different color yarns for this. For best results, use two different tones, such as a light color and a dark color.

I have a crochet hook listed for use, but this is for the end when finishing up. So the exact size isn’t too important, but I wound recommend as close to the suggested size as possible.
