These fun toppers will jazz up your favourite pair of boots. They are worked with simple stripes and slipped stitches, only ever working with one strand per round. They can be worn either inside or outside the boot.

This pattern will adapt fairly well to different yarns and gauges. If your yarn is on the lighter worsted side of the scale I recommend going down a needle size or more.

SUGGESTED YARN
Erika Knight Vintage Wool; 100% Wool; 95 yds 87 m / 1.75 oz 50 g - 75 (90, 105, 120) yds/70 (80, 95, 110) m of Flax (MC) and 25 (25, 30, 35) yds/25 (25, 25, 30) m Leighton (CC).

NEEDLES
DPNs or preferred style for small-circumference knitting in each of:
US #9/5.5 mm —or size needed to obtain gauge as listed.
US #8/5 mm—or 1 size smaller than gauge needle.

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, stitch marker, scrap yarn, two extra circular needles or DPNs for tubular BO—the same size as or smaller than smaller needle.

Gauge
18.5 stitches and 30 rounds = 4”/10 cm in St st in the round, blocked.
