I’m in love with this new Norwegian star beanie in dark blue and white.
The white stitches on top look like falling snow.
And the herringbone edge makes it even more special.

At the top is a star, shadowing the zigzag pattern of the Norwegian star.

My beanie is knit totally from Buttinette 4-ply sock yarn söckli.
Yardage about 210 m/50 g.
You can use any similar sock yarn (like Regia 4-ply or Opal).

Note: for bigger heads use bigger needle size or 5-ply yarn (e.g. Merino Buttinette Madeleine 164 yards (150 meters) /50 g)
