Here are a pair of fingerless gloves that make use of slip stitch color work to create blocks of color. They look like an intarsia knit but they aren’t. I felt so clever making these little mitts and I hope they put a smile on your face too.

Sizes: These gloves can be made in 4 different sizes, 6 (7, 8, 9) inches or 15 (18, 20, 23) centimeters around at the cast on/bind off edge. The example shown here is the smallest size. Make yours to fit snugly as gloves always stretch out as you wear them.

Yarn: Two colors of fingering weight yarn (approx 120 - 240 yds of each color depending on size)
Needles: TWO US Size 2 (2.25mm) circular needles
Gauge: 28 sts & 40 rnds = 4 inches (10cm) in stockinette stitch
Notions: three stitch markers and a tapestry needle
