This shrug is perfect for the little breeze or the air conditioning in the office. Knit in one piece from cuff to cuff, you’ll have it flying off your needles in no time. A small seam for each sleeve is all you need. Center ribbing is knit in the round after main body of shrug is worked.

Needles: US 9 (5.5 mm), straight or size needed to obtain gauge;
US 7 (4.5 mm), 24” circular for ribbing

Gauge: 3.25 stitches and 4 rows = 1” in stockinette stitch with larger needles
3 stitches + 4.75 rows = 1” in sleeve pattern stitch with larger needles
4 stitches + 6 rows = 1” in k2, p2 ribbing with smaller needles

Notions: tapestry needle for seaming and to weave in ends

Yarn: any heavy worsted to bulky weight yarn
