I’ve had this super-bulky yarn for years and haven’t known what to do with it. I love the colors and the way the blue and green look just like the ocean on a bright sunny day, but still – what to do with only two balls of a super-bulky? One day, I looked at a partial ball of white Cascade 220 and had a bolt of inspiration.
The white yarn in a frothy lace pattern is a perfect edging on the waves and swells of the super-bulky ocean, the way seafoam is delicate and intricate.
I hope you like it as well, and I’m looking forward to seeing the ways you interpret the difference in gauges.

Ingredients:
2 balls Malabrigo Rasta, or other super bulky yarn (90 yds/ball, 2 st/in in stockinette stitch)
1 ball Cascade 220, or other light worsted weight yarn (220 yds/ball, 5 sts/in in stockinette stitch)

Tools:
US 19 (15mm) circular needles, no shorter than 29”
US 17 (12mm) circular needles, no shorter than 29”
Very Large Markers (loops of waste yarn work well for this)
Large eyed blunt darning needle
