Easy and lovely textured mitts knitted with two colours of 4-ply sock yarn.
Actually my first one with gore thumbs.
They fit size S and M (20 - 22 cm hand cirumreference).
Because of the texture pattern they are quite flexible… and will also fit a bit larger hands.
I used plain blue sock yarn and a flecked blue-white-navy-black sock yarn. Because the purls look like little waves and of the colouring I call them ocean mitts. They resemble waves on the ocean….
If you have no flecked sock yarn you could also use white instead. The effect will be similar…
The corrugated ribbing underlines the ocean theme…
I really love them.
Thanks to my mum for hand modelling… ;-)
As today is Mother’s day, this pattern is dedicated to all mothers in the world.

Enjoy!
