All over waves and a border of shells make up my Oceans shawlette. I loved this color when I saw it which meant I had to buy it, but I couldn’t find a pattern that fit to my liking. This is my version of what this color and the ocean mean to me. Love! Although this shawlette is knit with just one skein of madelinetosh tosh merino light, it knits up to a nice size top-down shawl.

Although gauge is not important, your final dimensions and yardage requirements may vary if your gauge is different. Please be aware, this shawl was knit with one skein of madelinetosh with some yarn remaining. Many testers used a 460-yard skein for the shawl to avoid running out of yarn.
Finished dimensions after washing and blocking:
Approximately 45“/115 cm high and 35“/90 cm wide.

Skill Level: intermediate.

Yarn: madelinetosh tosh merino light, 420.0 yards (384.0m), shown in color Oceana from Yarn Over Berlin.

Needles: US 6/4 mm.

Notions: stitch markers and darning needle to weave in the ends.

Gauge: 5 sts per 1”/2.5 cm after blocking in stockinette stitch.
Thank you to al my testers and Elizabeth Deremiah!!
