Oh So Chic! cowl is a perfect accessory. It is a fun and engaging knit. The cowl is knit flat sideways and then seamed up the back of the neck after blocking. This pattern utilizes mosaic knitting and garter stitch. The pattern can be worked from the written instructions or the charts.
Yarn:
- MC: Urth Yarns 16 Fingering (100% SW Ultrafine Merino, 220 yd / 50 g) - 1 skein
- CC: Urth Yarns Spiral Grain Sport (100% SW Extrafine Merino, 198 yd / 50 g) - 1 skein
Or any light sport or thick fingering weight yarn in 2 colors
Needles: US 4 (3.5 mm)
Notions: darning needle, 1 stitch marker
Gauge:
- 25 stitches and 50 rows = 4” in main pattern blocked
- 26 stitches and 56 rows = 4” in main pattern unblocked
Size: 20“ circumference, 20” center front depth, 6.5” back neck depth
