Opoutere is a stunning coastal hideaway, a haven for exploring beautiful forest, beach and harbour. Just a short stroll through ancient Pohutukawas to over 5km of unspoilt, white sand with rolling surf and the tranquil waters of Wharekawa Harbour. One of the best things for me is it is just down the road! and was the inspiration for this design. Picture the caravan by the beach, jandals on your feet, the feeling of salt on your skin and sitting around the beach fire after dark roasting marshmallows with your Opoutere beanie on your head to keep the slight chill from the sea breeze at bay… Pure Magic!
