I read somewhere once that to really remember things you have to use all five of your senses to soak up everything about that moment. So, when I want to remember those beautiful moments of life I remember to stop: close my eyes, breathe, feel, everything that is happening in the moment. The small, beautiful, moments of life that we want to grasp hold of and never let go.

To honor all those moments that you want to hold onto forever I designed the Oregano Fingerless Mittens which are a great stash buster for using the leftovers of the Oregano Hat & Oregano Cowl.

The pattern is available as part of the ebook collection Herbed: The Seasonings Of Life. This collection is for the knitter who appreciates the seasons of her life and wants to knit designs with meaning. The knitwear in this collection will remind you to: live life bravely, embrace happiness, marvel at the remarkable, appreciate wisdom & learning, be hospitable, & enjoy the affection of loved ones.

When you purchase the collection your Ravelry library will be updated every two weeks until May 2018 with a new pattern for you to enjoy. The book will include inspiring anecdotes of life, gardening tips, and some of my favorite recipes. Embrace the flavors of spring and the messages of these knits all year long.

Finished Measurements
Block mitts lightly to even out stitching. Sample measured 6 in/15.2 cm (6.25 in/15.9 cm) on long edge and 3 in/10.2 cm (3.5 in/8.9 cm) excluding thumb gusset.

Note that there is quite a bit of stretch to the mittens. If you are in between sizes knit the smaller one.
