A Seamless back and forth lace cardigan. The lace stitch is matched in the underarms and the yoke so there are only whole repeats of the motif. Try to find where the underarm joins the yoke… it is nearly impossible to locate without knowing exactly the row it took place on because you knit it!

28 - 34 inch (xs, sm) bust needs 3 skeins shadow, 36 - 46 inch (med, lg, xl) bust needs 4 skeins, and 48 - 50 (2x) needs 5 skeins.

This is not an easy project, there are grafting, lace, and short rows all involved. An Adventuresome beginner with a bit of experience with lace could attempt it - and by the time you are done the body you will be used to lace, and you will be halfway through it before grafting or short rows are needed.

The instructions are completly written out line by line with lots of explanations, and there are charts at the end to add to it. There are two versions of the pattern, one with all the charts and photos, the other has only one photo at the start.

This sweater was named after the original, which I knit in my favorite color from Knit Picks: Oregon Coast.
