The Oslo Star Hat’s motif is inspired by so many Norwegian Star patterns I have seen and loved. The Oslo Star Hat is a beanie or toque that begins with a ribbed brim. Choose your own adventure: create a 4”/ 10 cm ribbed brim turned up once halfway or a 6”/ 15 cm brim that’s folded double. After the ribbed brim is complete, a stranded motif covers the brow or the crown, decreasing to a point at the top of the hat. This project is suitable for the adventurous knitter ready to try stranded knitting.
