The oud is a type of lute that is mainly found in Arab countries.

This design is a little bit of cowl, a little bit of a collar, and
a whole lot of snuggly warmth. The colorwork found in this pattern is mild and can easily be tackled by a knitter who new to working fair isle techniques.

Do not forget, or try to avoid blocking this design! As with
lace, stranded knitting greatly benefits from some tender
loving finishing. You will be much happier with how your
stitches lay after blocking.
