Owlish Bags are so called only because the shape reminded me of owls, though I did not set out to design an owl bag. The sling-bag profile is a comfortable fit and the owlish silhouette rather stylish. Of course, a creative crocheter could certainly add details to make them very owl-like.

The bag body is constructed in one piece and instructions for a strap are included, or a purchased strap may be added. 100% wool is required for the felted bags. The Little Owlish bag was stitched with one skein of Lion Brand Fisherman’s wool (lt. worsted) and a purchased strap was attached. The Chubby Owlish bag used Knitpicks Andes del Campo (hvy. worsted) in two colors. Three skeins were needed for the body and one skein was used for the flap and strap.

As with all P.K. Olson patterns, your creation is your work and yours to do with as you please. Give them away, sell them, or keep them. Just make them with love and please be considerate by not copying/selling the pattern or claiming it as your own.
