Children’s Pinafore Dress to fit from 6 months to 3 years old
Flower pattern and moss stitch edgings

Pattern is written in English

Design:
The dress has a flower pattern and moss stitch edgings. The front and back are knitted separately and sewn together at the sides. Two buttons are stitched on to the front straps.

Sizes:
The pattern includes 5 sizes to fit a child: 6m, 12m, 18m, 2yrs and 3 years old.

Yarn:
The pattern uses 4 ply wool (an alternative yarn for overseas knitters would be USA Sport or Australian 5 ply).
The picture shows the outfit knitted for size 2 years old using Sirdar Snuggly 4 Ply in shades Lilac (0219) and White (0251).

Skill:
Intermediate. Written instructions provided.

Tension:
28 sts and 36 rows to 4 inches/10 cm (stocking stitch) on 3.25 mm needles or size needed to achieve stated tension.

Needles:
Sizes 2.75 mm and 3.25 mm (USA 2 and 3) straight needles are required.

Other requirements:
2 buttons
