This shawl was inspired by the rolling waves of the Pacific Ocean. The optional (but highly recommended) beads capture the sparkle of sunlight on the waves.

The pattern comes with instructions for three sizes. Both chart and line by line instructions are included for the lace edging.

One skein of 440 yards will definitely get you a small shawl; if you are making a medium or large, I highly recommend that you have a second skein of yarn at the ready. I knit my large shawl with only one skein of Malabrigo Sock, but some knitters are reporting that they need more than one skein, even for the medium. So much depends on our individual gauge!

Optional beads: 2 (3, 4) 2.5 inch tubes
of size 6/0 beads (320 beads/small, 370/medium, 430 beads/large shawl)
