This wide necked sweater was inspired by the beautiful colors at the Painted Desert National Park. My family enjoys visiting the park for the startling beauty and peacefulness that can be experienced there.

The sweater is knit top down and uses two contrasting colors. The color work sections are fairly simple and do not have any long floats that require trapping. Simple color work is added at the cuffs of the sleeves and hem of the body for an extra pop of color and interest.

Blue sample shown is knit with Serendipitous Wool Vayu.
Mauve sample shown is knit with Knit Picks Palette.
