When you purchase this pattern you will get this shawl with the Big Honeycombs and the PDF for the Small Honeycombs version.

This triangular shawl is knit with fingering weight yarn and begins with a long I-cord cast on. Then, you decrease along one edge until you reach the small tip of the shawl. Two skeins of West Wool Bicycle frame two balls of the same self-striping colorway from Bilum yarns. The gradient contrast color results in a smooth color transition that’s very easy to knit. The finished size is not too big and not too small. It’s an enjoyable project that’s addicting to knit as the rows get smaller and smaller.

Finished Measurements
74” / 188cm wingspan length, 33” / 84cm along center triangle point. Measurements taken after blocking.

Color Note
This pattern features a solid main color with a self-striping contrast color. I used two balls of the same self-striping colorway. When one ball is finished, continue with the second ball by working with a similar color, so the two balls seamlessly melt into each other. You can pull from the inside or outside of Bilum’s self-striping yarn cakes to continue with the best color transition.
For example, I started with gold and the yarn faded into dark burgundy. So, I began the second CC yarn cake with dark burgundy.
