I’m delighted to be able to introduce this innovative and gorgeous double-knitted mosaic cowl.

That’s right: it’s mosaic knitting, which I’m sure you know, but this particular cowl is double-knitted mosaic, giving you twice as much squish, twice as much warmth, twice as many colour options, and twice as much fun!

The garter-stitch texture, and that second layer of fabric make the Pairs of Squares cowl an absolute joy to wear, and made in two colours of your choice from the super-cosy and luxurious Sockmatician Edition DK weight yarn, you’ll love it so much, you might never want to take it off!

Featuring some pure double-knitting elements, as well as the DK mosaic sections, this cowl is surprisingly easy to knit, but with just enough going on to stop you from getting bored.

As always, all the techniques you need to know to make this cowl are fully explained right in the pattern pages, so even if you have never done any double-knitting, or any mosaic knitting for that matter, you’ll still be able to breeze your way through to making and wearing this beautiful and stylish, geometric cowl.
