From the pattern description: This red-white-blue variation of the #A80 Peppermint Sticks 2 Socks pattern is worked in three colors instead of two, and has optional embroidered 5-point stars on the heel flap. The cuff is worked side-to-side in a simple knit and purl welted ribbing of red and white stripes. The jag and swirl of the striped cuff suggests the U.S. flag proudly waving in the breeze.
