This easy shrug jacket is knit in one piece and it is lovely comfort knit project. Four sizes are listed in the pattern.

Description: Shrug is knit in one piece from the bottom up. Stitches are cast on and then eventually bound off for the sleeves before finishing at top edge.

Needles: US 9 (29”) circular needles or size needed for gauge, larger needles for bind off row

(Note: Circulars are used for ease of knitting; do not join, but work back and forth as if on straight needles)

Gauge: 3.5 stitches and 4.5 rows = 1” in stockinette stitch

Yarn: any heavy worsted (4) or bulky (5) weight wool yarn

Total Yardage: 552 (656, 725, 828) yards

Yarn for sample: Manos del Uruguay, 138 yards per hank, 3.5 ounces, #113 Wildflowers, 4 (5, 6, 6) hanks

Sizes: Small (Medium, Large, X-Large) When only one number is listed, it is used for all sizes.
