Peregrinate
Peregrinate: \ˈper-ə-grə-ˌnāt\ verb
- to travel especially on foot
The socks shown here are a size medium made with Fine Merino Superwash Sock by Barking Dog Yarns in a one of a kind colorway.
These socks feature an easily-memorized cable stitch on the leg, an asymmetrical gusset, and a meandering mirrored pattern on the foot. The foot is a tiny bit of a challenge, but the end result is well worth it.
The socks are top down and have a heel flap. The pattern is six pages long and includes directions for three sizes (56, 64, and 72 stitch cast on). By altering the size of yarn you use (and hence your gauge) you can make a sock with an approximate leg circumference of 6, 7, 8, 9, or 10 inches.
