Knit a variety of different shapes to create a colourful line of flags for your pirate boat. There are patterns for plain rectangles, rectangles with points and the popular pennant shape which you can stripe, knit in two halves or simply knit plain.

PIRATE BUNTING FLAG SIZES
Size will depend on yarn used. The length of each flag will be approximately 16cm (6½in) long

TWO STRAIGHT NEEDLES - All knitting is done on a pair of 4mm needles (US size 6).

YARN is double knitting (DK). (USA - light worsted, Australia - 8 ply).

BASIC KNITTING SKILLS REQUIRED: Cast on, cast off (bind off), knit, k2tog. The pattern is easy to follow with lots of coloured pictures to assist with every stage. All pattern rows are numbered.
