Flattering a-line shaping and split side hem offer a modern silhouette to a classic sweater. This sweater pattern offers two additional cable motifs which can be substituted for the cables shown in the sample. Knitters can also substitute the center purl section of the sample sweater with two additional texture patterns. Worked from the top-down using Elizabeth Doherty’s method, this sweater offers the ease of knitting in the round and the flattering fit of set in sleeves. The pattern also offers the education for knitters to supplement cable motifs of their choosing by following a few basic gauge rules.
