This is a wonderful, textured cowl. The fabulous worsted weight yarn from YOTH Yarns is 100% domestic Rambouillet wool. It’s springy and great to knit with. I chose their interested, soothing color of Oyster. It has an ever so slight blue tinge and the grey is soft as goose down.

The cowl is easy to knit. There are complete instructions for working from the easy to read chart and for hooking on the beads. There are only a few beads (84 4mm cubes glass beads, Miyuki #). The beads are optional. If you choose to hook on the beads, you will need a 13/14 steel crochet hook. The beads are NOT strung onto the yarn.

The top and bottom edges are seed stitch, for good stability and the lace design pulls the sections into scallops. You will exaggerate this effect during blocking.
