This free pattern is the base for a doll I’m calling the Pocket Guy! My goal with this series is to make a highly customizable doll you can design however you want. I’m continuously adding to this series with various accessories such as hats, jackets, pants, and more. This doll works up quickly, uses very little yarn, and is low-sew.
Materials needed:
- Worsted (weight 4) yarn
- 4mm hook
- Scissors
- Yarn needle
- Polyfill/stuffing
- Stitch marker
- 8mm safety eye
Notes:
- This pattern is worked in the round. I highly recommend using a stitch marker to keep track of your rounds.
- You will need to know how to make a single crochet (sc), slip st (slst), and single crochet decrease (scdec). If you struggle to make a magic ring, you can make a slip knot and ch 2. Work your first round into the second ch from hook.
- The number in parenthesis at the end of each round is the amount of sts you should have in that round.
- All loose ends can be tucked into the doll as you make it up or when you’re done.
- Your doll will be about 6 in or 15 cm tall.
