A lovely lacy kids design for spring & summer, Pomona is a seamless top down knit with a more unusual raglan construction, allowing for a lace triangles to be inserted at the front of the sleeve sections, as well as down the centre back and round the front at the bottom. It is very straightforward to knit and the pattern is easy to follow.

Skill level: intermediate
You need to be able to knit in the round, follow simple lace patterns & do an i cord bind off - all skills achievable even by an advanced beginner too.

You will need:
100 - 300g DK yarn (mercerized cotton works well)
4mm circular needle (or DPNs if preferred)
wool needle

The pattern has 5 sizes so can be used multiple times. The design looks lovely on its own but also lends itself to having a long or short sleeved top underneath, which really makes the lace triangles stand out..Knit in cotton for the spring and summer and wool for cooler days. It truely is a very versatile pattern.
