In Paris, the Pont des Arts Bridge crosses the Seine River; it was featured in the last episode of Sex and the City and is now a popular place for lovers. The tradition is to attach a padlock to one of the bars of the bridge, tossing the key into the river below. This signifies the couple’s everlasting love. Inspired by an unbelievably luxurious yarn, I’ve created a slim‐fitting pencil skirt which sits stylishly high on the waist and is punctuated with horizontal purl stripes. Worked from the top down in one seamless piece (including the elastic waistband), you’ll be ready for a romantic stroll over the river in no time flat!
