This pig is a real HOG and he wants to steal your candy.

Pork Belly is actually a very sweet pirate. He is designed for all ages, (even babies with a few alterations to make him baby safe, as listed on the pattern).

He is worked in the round, using worsted weight yarn, with his head, torso & legs as one piece in order to minimize seaming. Other body parts are worked separately & sewn on using yarn ends. And his facial expression consists of very basic embroidery techniques that are explained through photographs in the instructions.

While specific gauge is not overly important, Pork Belly is worked in a tight stitch tension in order to prevent stuffing from showing through.

The pattern consists of several pages of written instruction as well as photos and includes a FREE copy of my 3 page customized stuffing tutorial. This tutorial will show the user how to firmly stuff a more shapely body for this and all of your other toys.
