It is an original design of a shawl. This shawl is inspired by the Posidonia oceanica in the Mediterranean Sea.

The pattern as written is slightly smaller than the sample shown in photos, so that with just one skein of Malabrigo Yarn Sock it can be crocheted seamlessly.

The body of the wrap begins with a small number of stitches and then gradually increases. After the widest point is reached, the number of stitches gradually decrease until a very long triangle is achieved.
The different lace patterns within the piece make it interesting, and the simplicity of the shaping allows for personal adjustments, depending on yarn and size required.
The pattern is very easy to moderate in a bigger size if necessary.

Gauge: 20 Dc x 8 rows in pattern stitch = 4’’ x 4’’ (10 cm x 10 cm)
Check your gauge for best results. If needed you can use a larger hook.

Difficulty: Overall, I would rate this pattern as suitable for an intermediate crocheter, because of its complexity, although it would not be too difficult for a beginner.(Chain stitch, Single crochet, Double crochet, Dc2together, Dc3together, Treble cluster, slip stitch).

PDF-pattern english: Abbreviated written instructions and chart. Written in US crochet terms.
