PRETTY FROCKS
For miniature woodeland figurines

These dresses are designed to fit average-sized mothers and daughters. Their gorgeous full skirts decorated with traditional lace and other decorative stitches will delight collectors and young children alike.

Mother Badger’s Snow White style dress has a delicate white crochet-thread petticoat underneath, incorporated with the dress at the waist and requires UK size 17 - 1.5mm needles. The remaining designs are each worked in one piece: the ‘50s lacy dress has integral sleeves, avoiding seams (2mm needles and 3ply or fine 4ply), while the two ‘Mary Quant’ striped dresses harken back to the ‘60s era (2mm needles and 4ply sock yarn). The little ‘70s Smock is finished with a lazy-daisy motif (4ply sock yarn and 2mm needles).

The pattern is available as a pdf file. Some patience is needed for the construction of these designs, there are quite a few ends to weave in!

Do enjoy knitting these designs for your little dolls!
