This cute crochet beanie is easy and quick to make and as sweet as a kitten. Add an embroidered face for extra charm. The pattern is easily adjustable for any size.

Yarn: This hat can be created with any yarn. I typically use worsted weight yarn, usually I Love This Cotton since I live in a warm climate, but the pattern can be easily adjusted to accommodate any yarn. I use slightly less than 1 skein (180 yards) to make an adult size hat.

Hook: Use the hook recommended on your yarn ball. For my hats I use a 5mm, H hook.

Notions: Tapestry needle, small amount of embroidery thread or yarn in black or your chosen color to be used for the nose and whiskers.

Gauge: This hat is sized base on measurements, so your gauge is not important.

Stitches: Foundation half double crochet (fhdc), half double crochet (hdc), slip stitch (sl. st.), chain (ch.). You will also need to know a few embroidery stitches - whip stitch to sew the ears together, satin stitch to create the nose, and the whiskers are simply straight lines.

Sizing: I will provide a size chart. The hat can be made in any size.
