When a dear family friend graduated high school this year, I knew she needed a little something special as she began her career as a ballet instructor. Knowing the popularity of legwarmers amongst dancers, I decided to design a pair just for her. Being Texan, I knew my friend would not want something heavy and fluffy, so I scoured my stitch pattern books until I found the perfect motif - lacy and delicate!

These legwarmers are worked from the top down, and as such can be knitted to fit the desired recipient’s leg length. The lace is quite stretchy, as is the 1x1 ribbing. I’ve included links to video tutorials for the invisible cast on and bind off for the ribbing!
