This design was inspired by my favourite small Karoo town in South Africa, Prince Albert. The Karoo is a very dry region, hauntingly beautiful and as soon as the rains fall, the landscape erupts in colour, with the most stunning flowers.

This pattern is ideal for beginners wanting to expand their knowledge of different stitches. Almost every row has a stitch count, so newbie crocheters can monitor their progress.

The pattern is written in UK terminology.

The suggested yarn is Aran weight, but this project will look amazing in any really thick yarn. The diameter of the cushion is approx 55cm.
