It is a top-down shawl.
I created this stitch when I was having problem doing 8 wraps of Bullion stitch.
It looks like a P so I call it a P-stitch. There are pictures tutorial on my project page.
Any yarn and colours will be great for it.

Do not know the total yardage used.
