In the warm summer evenings we all enjoy sitting on the patio and smelling the roses in the garden.
That is .. until a skunk moved into the neighbours yard and took up residence!
After several attempts at persuading her to take her family to another location, we had no other choice but to take matters into our own hands. The trap was set.. and set again… and again.. until we were finally successful and the peace in the neighbourhood restored.
Thus I decided that after all the excitement I must make this pair to forever remember the event.. and the aroma they left behind.

This is a relatively easy knit. If you can work two colours of yarn at the same time, and intertwine the worsted and the eyelash in your knitting.. The top of the skunk is knit with one piece from the head to the body and tail . Then the underbelly is knit in one piece in the same manner. Sew them together and add the legs and you have Pudgy and Prissy.
The pattern includes photos and instructions as to the changing of the colours, assembly and forming of the curved tail as well.

Happy knitting..xo but beware when you add the derriere that the aroma is that of roses!!
