Happy Fall!

Pumpkin Pie has always been a seasonal favorite in my family. Honestly all things pumpkin-themed and pumpkin-flavored. My family is quite the oddball group. Funny hats are not beneath us at all. But, when we dress up, Irish caps are a go-to look for the men folk. It seemed only natural to combine the Irish cap idea with the goofy pumpkin pie hat. The wood club sock cover is just the metaphorical dollop on top.

I hope you enjoy the fall fun with us.

Materials
I used Red Heart yarn in Aran weight for my cap and sock. I used the colors 256 Carrot, 334 Buff, and 1 White.
I used a 5.5mm hook for the cap and sock. And a 5mm hook for the dollop piece that goes on top of both of them.

For the Cap:
You will need about 74 yards (67 meters), 40 grams of the orange color. 256 Carrot.
And about 111 yards (101 meters), 60 grams of the tan color. 334 Buff.

For the Sock:
You will need about 30 yards (27 meters), 16 grams of the orange color. 256 Carrot.
And about 45 yards (41 meters), 24 grams of the tan color. 334 Buff.

For each Dollop:
You will need about 22 yards (20 meters), 12 grams of 1 White.
