You will need approximately 3 yards of yarn per petal. One ball of the suggested yarn will make you a bouquet of flowers. Knitting with needles smaller than suggested on the yarn wrapper will make the shape hold up better.

Please note that there is some crocheting involved in making this lariat. If you prefer knitting, you can subsitute the neckcord with an I-cord.
