So, I love red and black together, and I started knitting nested squares, but I got off-track with the design. Rather than go back and reknit, I decided to just keep going. It morphed into a design I really like. Cubist roses, of a sort. These are squares gone awry--interrupted from their squareness. These socks are a little bigger than I usually knit. Easier to get on and not so tight to wear. The pattern allows for smaller needle size to make the socks more snug, if desired. Also, it employs Cat Bordhi’s STH, and that I can always be adjusted for a perfect fit.

I like this pattern so much, I actually knitted 2 socks! I think you will, too.
