The Quartown Scarf is a great uni-sex style scarf that plays with color gradient and stripes. This pattern was inspired by the Sequence Knitting class I took last month with Cecelia Campochiaro. By repeating a very simple pattern like (K4, P2) every row, you create an accordion type of ribbing which is extra warm & stretchy.
