What’s with the name? I have two close friends who are both survivors from breast cancer. However to me, all the treatment they have gone through, and all the side-effects they suffer afterwards, they are truely Queens of F’Everything! This shawl is designed as a homage to them and everyone else who has suffered from breast cancer.

The shawl has an I-cord edge and a beautiful brioche pattern featuring a cable. The I-cord uses only the MC, and is always slipped when using the CC. Brioche abbreviations used in the pattern are the ones developed by Nancy Marchant – thank you, Nancy!
The shawl is a beginner friendly if you have not knit brioche before. To make it an even easier knit, you can omit the cable. When you knit brioche each row is knit twice. First with the MC (main colour), then you slide all the sts and knit them again with the CC (contrasting colour). When you have knit a CC row, you turn your work.

Pattern notes:
The size of the shawl can easily be changed, you knit as many repeats as you desire. However, this will alter the total yardage,
Gauge is not important for the shawl, but will alter the size. If you use thinner yarn with a higher yardage you may consider going down a needle size, otherwise your sts may become very loose. This will alter the finished size.
