Originally published in 2010, I revised this pattern in May, 2020 to correct some typos, fix some errors (what was I thinking?), and make it overall a much better pattern. My 10 years of pattern writing has taught me a lot (like for example not to spell purl as pearl!). I do think the design has merit though and I plan on making a top down version in Malabrigo with more sizes and some actual photos.
New notes below:
______________
An oversized, cropped raglan jacket with a three-button closure at neck and bell sleeves. Worked from the bottom up in pieces that are seamed. A great pattern for the beginning sweater knitter; this pattern includes simple raglan shaping and easy techniques. It is worked in chunky yarn making for a quick knit. The seaming is made easy with the garter ridges which help line things up.
