Welcome to the 20in20 series! This collection is carefully curated to use those gorgeous skeins that are languishing in your stash, waiting for the perfect project. Each project uses approximately 100g of yarn, and are in a variety of yarn weights. Patterns will be released every 2-3 weeks and you can expect a variety of accessory patterns including hats, cowls, mitts and even a shawl or two! Follow along on Instagram for a sneak peek of upcoming designs!

This sock pattern is ideal for hand-dyed speckled and variegated yarns. The slipped stitches mix up the colors, preventing extreme pooling.

Since this is a slipped stitch pattern, there is less stretch than regular stockinette. For this reason, you might consider going up a needle size for the leg. Sample 1 is the 7.5” size and my leg measures 9.5” above the ankle. They just stretch enough to fit my leg, and next time I would either make the larger size or go up a needle size just for the leg.

Yarn
345-460 yards/75-100g of sock weight yarn (variable depending on both leg and foot length):

Sample 1: HauteKnit Yarn - Jimmy Sock - I knew You Were Trouble
Sample 2: Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Sock - Dawn Patrol - discontinued color, but any of their variegated colors would look similar!
