K: Knit P: Purl St(s): Stitch(es)
P1fb: This is a M1 stitch. After purling a stitch, don’t drop it from your needle, but purl into the back loop of the stitch to make one. Then drop the stitch as usual. Now you should have two stitches in the place of one.
K2tog: Knit two stitches together like they are one.
Cable: Slide the indicated stitches to a cable needle and then knit the indicated stitches before knitting the cabled stitches

This pattern comes in two sizes: a small size, for a child (4-8? years) and an adult size. Gauge is 4-4.5 stitches an inch.

There is a picture tutorial to explain some stitches after the pattern.
