Nov. 2009: an alternate yarn choice -- Patons Grace -- has been added to the suggested yarns for this pattern.

This top-down raglan dress is the perfect addition to a little girl’s spring and summer wardrobe. The dainty Lacework details make this a dress special enough for any occasion.

The top-down construction of this little dress means no seaming! After the completion of a garter stitch neck edging, the lace panel is incorporated into the Front section. The lace panels on the sleeves are worked after the panel on the Front is finished. The lace pattern is repeated at bodice and hem. Colourful ribbons can be woven through the bodice lacework for a fanciful touch.

This easy-knit little dress would be lovely for a flower girl.
